- What is Anime America?
Anime America is a convention focused on Anime, Cosplay and Japanese Pop Culture
- Are Autographs from special guest free?
No, Autographs are not free. Guests will post their rates for autographs and selfies at their booths during the show.
- Can I bring my own Items to be signed?
Typically, yes you can. However, some guests may have limits and restrictions as to what they will sign and the quantities they will sign, at their own discretion.
- Can I take a selfie with guests?
Usually yes, but that is up to the individual guest, and photo rates will be posted at their booths if applicable.
- Can you prepay for autographs?
At this time, we do not offer pre sales on autographs. All autographs are paid for at the guest booths ( Outside of VIP packages that may include autographs/meet and greets )
- What is VIP
VIP badges will give you access to the “fast pass” VIP line for guest autographs and entrance to the convention 1 hour before general public.
- Do I need a badge?
Yes, everyone the age 7 and above will need to purchase a badge to enter Anime America.
- How Do I get a badge?
You can purchase your badges for Anime America online at www.AnimeAmerica.com or in person on the day of the convention.
- Are media invited?
Yes! Media and content creators are welcome to attend Anime America and cover the event. If you would like to attend as Media/press/Creator please contact info@animeamerica.com and link your credentials and/or social media profiles.
- How to I sign up to be a vendor, exhibitor or artist?
Our website lists the date when tables go on sale for each city under the vendor page. Vendor tables go on sale at 12pm CST and typically sell out quickly.
- What are the show hours?
Anime America show hours are Saturday 10am – 6pm and Sunday 10am – 5pm. VIP badge holders may enter the convention one hour early at 9am on Saturday and Sunday.
- Will Anime America be in my city next?
We are currently working on adding more shows every year! Please follow our official Instagram account for the latest news and announcements.
- Can I bring my own Bag or Backpack?
Yes, bags and backpacks are allowed, but may be searched by security.
- Can I Cosplay?
Yes! We love Cosplay, and have a Cosplay contest with cash prizes! Weapon/props will be subject to inspection upon entry.
- Can I bring my own food and drink?
No outside food or drink is allowed. The convention center will offer a variety of food and drink for purchase.
- Is there a lost and found?
Yes, the Anime America merchandise tent neat the front entrance is the official lost and found area.
